If there are dentist in the area who can perform the tx and are Kaiser dent=
ist, would they still allow me to do a GAP appeal?

With the case you describe the chances of getting coverage are slim. With t=
hat many missing teeth, impaired function would create medical necessity bu=
t this would have had to be approved before surgery for the restorations to=
 be covered.

atient, who happens to be my Assistants daughter, who has had congenitally =

 is currently going through ortho and has just had 7,10,12,13 implants plac=

You may or may not know, Kaiser is big in California and they have Kaiser c=
ontracted dentist who do tx.=C2=A0 For example, I have patients who go to K=
aiser dentist to have Sleep Apnea devices made or their oral surgery depart=
ment to have biopsies.
